“Life’s most peristent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?'”
-Martin Luther King, Jr.
VeganWear was born from a mission to make ethically-made, cruelty-free attire the gold standard. In every step of our business, we strive to empower others and make the world a better place. In addition, we’re upending the traditional business model.
We pledge a minimum of 10% of our profits to non-profits making the world a better place. However, we don’t believe in passing these costs off to our customers; that would conflict with our goal to deliver the highest quality products to you. Instead, we don’t allow investors and our founder donates out of earnings, growing his giving as the company grows. We consistently donate far beyond 10% and plan to continue to do so. You can find a few of our featured non-profits below.
2018 Donations: $2,288
Our Hen House: Our Hen House is a media company that shares the latest news surrounding animal advocacy, increasing transparency around modern events. Hear us featured on a few August and September podcasts!
The Humane League: The Humane League works with the biggest corporations in the world to improve the quality of lives for animals. You can find us supporting its nationwide galas and campaign encouraging McDonald’s to improve living conditions for chickens.
Compassion Over Killing: Compassion Over Killing improves consumer awareness around animal agriculture to promote transparency. It also sponsors fun events across the country, such as D.C. VegFest, where 25,000 guests are expected in 2018.
Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society: PAWS works to make Philadelphia a no-kill city by providing compassionate services for cats and dogs.
